31 week ultrasound video

Here's a video Nathan took at my ultrasound appointment yesterday. At first you'll see the nurse measuring his heart, then you get a glimpse of his spine, then she zooms around to his face and his arm covers his face and for a few brief seconds you can see his face. Now you'll have to play the video over and over again to notice it. It's between seconds 40-50.

In this next video, the nurse is showing us fluid that was found surrounding his lungs. The reason I had this ultrasound appointment is because at my 18 week ultrasound, they found calcium deposits in his heart (a cardio focus), and they wanted to do a follow-up scan. Good news is that it's no longer there! But now of course they found something else. There's liquid not inside his lungs but outside. The doctor wants to keep a close eye on it because it has to do with the baby's Lymphatic system. She said that sometimes it goes away and sometimes it doesn't.I'm scheduled for another ultrasound next Wednesday (keep Baby M in your thoughts and prayers). I'm sure it's nothing serious, after all, doctors and nurses have to comb through everything they see in ultrasounds and be super cautious. And after the last scare with the calcium deposits in his heart, we've now discovered that they're no longer there. Nathan and I believe we have a fighter! Ding, ding!!!
