Rollin' with my Homies

I got to witness Brayden rolling over for the first time last night! After having the pediatrician recommend that Brayden start Early Intervention because he wasn't rolling over yet or sitting up alone I felt like a failure as a mom. I know I shouldn't have felt that way, looking back on it now, but it was the first time I was defensive for my son.

Nathan told me that the night before last, he rolled over but I wasn't there to witness it so it didn't count ;-P After seeing how excited Brayden was to roll over, my heart welled up with so much pride for him. Changing a diaper will become so much more exciting now! He'll twist and turn as I attempt to strap on the diaper. FUN (I'm hoping you sense my sarcasm...)!

About 2 hours ago, I put Brayden down for the night. An hour after that I heard him wincing and fussing and thought that maybe he just lost his binkie. So I let him fuss to see if he'd fall back to sleep. Well he didn't stop so I checked on him and low and behold he was flat on his face! Now I'll be paranoid that he'll end up on his stomach in the middle of the night. Eek. But I guess he'll start fussing again and I'll hear him.

Congrats Brayden! Mommy and Daddy are very proud of you. You did it all by yourself!

Jen, did you do the background for your blog? And if so, wanna make one for me?
