Thank GOD for nice weather

Today marked the warmest day we've had this year so far. It was 59 degrees and sunny. Of course whenever it's at least 50 degrees I take B to the park to play in the swing, then go for my mile walk. Today was a little different. This time we could finally sit by the man-made beach without getting our pants soaked. Brayden was fascinated with the grass and the twigs he found along the pond. He ran his little chubby fingers through the grass and waved at anyone who passed by along the walkway.

Which by the way he started waving "hi." He first waved hi to my sister in law Sarah last week. After that, he's waved at anyone and everyone. It's really sweet watching him doing it too. Up next is to teach him to blow kisses. I feel like this month has been a very important developmental period for him. It's hard catching up with all the new things he's doing. I cherish it in my heart throughout the day.

I'm now 17 weeks pregnant and growing as ever. Next week we go into Boston to find out the sex of the baby. I cannot WAIT! My sister in law Melissa is having a girl (thank the LORD Almighty.) She has two boys and we were all hoping she's get her dream of having a girl and she is. I seriously couldn't be any happier for her. She needs another girl in that house. I am wishing for a girl myself. We'll see!

I start to get a little sad thinking about Brayden not having my full attention when baby #2 comes. It's like we've become buddies and soon I'll need to split my time and energy on his sibling. I don't like to think of it much because it makes me want to cry.

ANYhow, I'm happy to hear that the weather will remain nice all week and I plan on going out everyday. Fresh air does wonders for Brayden and I and plus, these moments I have with him alone are so precious.

He's such a cutiepie! It's so much fun when they start picking up new things at the speed of light.

I always say that while of course you have to take care of baby, it's ok to let them stew for a minute while you take care of big brother. Baby won't remember that but big brother will.
